Is it a baby hummingbird? A cute, fuzzy bug? A flying miniature lobster? SCROLL DOWN FOR THE ANSWER o_O ANSWER: At first glance this cute and busy little critter looks like a baby hummingbird. Look at how he moves! But after further investigation I discovered this bird is a bug impostor! See the antennae and proboscis? He (or she) is a Hummingbird Clearwing Moth (Hemaris Thysbe). The Plunge Protection Team was behind the phony press release on Friday afternoon that saved the market at the end of the day, and also gave Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac's stock a huge boost before people realized the "report" was untrue. Also, some of my own thoughts and rants on the whole mess which includes more outright lies and deception by the power that be. MONDAY MORNING UPDATE: The Federal Reserve finally made the announcement late Sunday evening that it would make one of its short-term lending programs available to Fannie and Freddie. The plan also included the Bush Administration asking Congress to approve a sweeping rescue package that would give officials the power to inject billions of federal dollars into the GSA's through various investment and loan schemes.
